The choral ensembles of Oakland Youth Chorus are available to perform for public or private events. The following vocal ensembles tour each season and might just be the perfect addition to your upcoming event or party.
Each ensemble can perform from 10 minutes to 30 minutes of material based on your needs and can often sing music to fit your event theme.
Concert Chorus is a multi award winning vocal performance ensemble of some
of the most promising young singers and musicians from many Bay Area high
schools and colleges. This chorus performs music of all genres: pop,
classical, world music, African-American spirituals, Broadway and original
works.
THE is OYC's advanced a capella ensemble of seasoned singers. This small group sings a variety of genres in tight five or six part harmonies. This group is ideal for any event.
Middle School Magic Chorus was created to prepare our younger students for Concert Chorus, by introducing them to a variety of musical genres and music theory, and by providing performance opportunities. This group has won several state-wide competitions and is highly talented for their age. If your event has a need for youthful energy and enthusiasm, this might be the group for you.
Soloists may be available upon request.
Performances by OYC are subject to availability. Events are often booked 6 months in advance.
