Help us raise $35,000 for our Festival Campaign!
This year, The Oakland Youth Chorus will be celebrating our 35th anniversary with a free, vibrant community festival in downtown Oakland. Come watch and listen to our award-winning youth performers, their world-renowned teachers, and other special guests as they perform song, dance and percussion from cultures around the world. This is a celebration you don’t want to miss!
Performers will include the Concert Chorus, Chamber Ensemble, Middle School Magic, Miracle Chorus, Music of Our World Percussion Classes, African Dance, the Oakland Youth Chorus Alumni Choir, the original members of Vocal Motion, and special guests Valerie Troutt and CHELLE! and Friends.
5 WAYS TO GET INVOLVED WITH OUR 35TH ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL
1. Join our Grassroots Fundraising Committee! Help us solicit silent auction donations, lend us your design skills, or ask parents, alumni, and former donors to continue to support us. Whether you've got a few hours or a few hours a week, we could use your help!

2. Contribute to our Silent Auction! Donate a gift certificate, cook a special dinner, offer your vacation home, or give some other gift! Not feeling creative? We can send you a list of past in-kind donations (contact stacie@oaklandyouthchorus.org).
3. Get us Event Sponsors! Ask your workplace, religious institution, organization or stably employed friend to sponsor us! We are looking for sponsors to give gifts from $250-$5000+. We have much publicity to offer in return!
4. Spread the Word! At OYC we are excited to be celebrating 35 years of providing quality music education to children and youth in Oakland and beyond. We want this to be one the biggest parties down town Oakland has ever seen, so come out and invite your friends.
5. Become an OYC Sponsor! Become a monthly donor at $5, $10, $20 or $35 a month. We are hoping to get 35 champion sponsors to become monthly donors at $35 dollars a month. Will you help us?
